Hi, my name is Justin Knowles, president of CGI Studios. After studying traditional art in Utah State University I began animating stereoscopic films in 1993. I started creating ride films for companies like Multi Dimensional Studios and Fortress Systems. I expanded to work on rides such as "Borg Invasion" in Las Vegas and "Mission Space" for Disney and have been fortunate to receive 3 emmys for FX work on STAR TREK VOYAGER, the DUNE MINI SERIES on the Scifi channel and PREDATORS AT WAR for National Geographic. With the growing demand for quality animation I put together CGI Studios. As a team we produced all the Film based rides for a Theme Park in Changchun China. These rides were an 8 perf 70 mm 4D attraction, an 8 perf 70 mm Dome Motion ride, a water projected attraction and a video res 4D theater. Please take a look at samples of our work below.
